South African Mutual Evaluation

The mutual evaluation programme is the primary instrument by which the FATF and FATF-style regional bodies monitor progress made by member governments in implementing the FATF Recommendations. South Africa underwent two previous mutual evaluations, in 2003 on joining FATF as a member and again in 2008.
